The pool & hot tub

The private outdoor pool is heated to approximately 28°C throughout the year. Stepped access leads from a shallow depth of around one metre, gradually sloping to approximately 1.8 metres at the deep end.

The hot tub is maintained at a relaxing 38°C and is fully drained, cleaned and chemically balanced between stays. Set beside the pool and surrounded by soft ambient lighting, it is an inviting place to unwind after exploring Oxfordshire.

The covered garden bar brings everything together—a comfortable space for leisurely lunches, evening drinks and relaxed outdoor dining beside the pool.

Settle into the outdoor sofas, prepare something on the BBQ, watch the Smart TV or connect to Starlink Wi-Fi. Double doors from the kitchen and living area open directly onto the covered patio, allowing indoor comfort and outdoor living to flow naturally.

Ingleby Retreat is let as one complete private retreat. The pool, hot tub, garden, bar and outdoor cooking area are never shared with another guest group, giving you the freedom to enjoy the space entirely at your own pace.

For guest safety, the swimming pool closes at 10pm. Use of the pool, hot tub and outdoor facilities is at guests’ own risk. For longer stays, discreet routine maintenance may take place.
